We also know it’s easy to overlook tax credits and possible deductions that could lead to a higher tax refund, whether you file your own taxes or work with a local accountant.
That’s why we focus on thoroughly reviewing your individual tax-paying circumstances and analyze your past returns to get any overpaid taxes from the CRA back into your hands.
Our tax recovery services are perfect for you whether you’re employed or in between jobs right now. We’re also happy to help you out regardless of your immigration status in Canada. We know tax credits and possible deductions can get overlooked in a number of situations.
– Your tax refunds are consistently low, and you suspect your accountant may have missed some deductions you are eligible for
– You’re filing on your own and aren’t sure which tax credits and deductions you’re eligible for
– You’re a single parent, a caregiver, or have a disability
– You’re not aware of the location-specific tax credits available in Canada
We care about helping you reclaim overpaid taxes from the CRA because we know that the extra money can make a big difference now and in the long term.
This has equipped us with the right expertise and systems to analyze your past tax returns (going back 10 years) thoroughly, uncover missed deductions and credits, and identify CRA tax refund opportunities for you.
Here’s a snapshot of our in-depth tax recovery process.
We don’t need any upfront fee from you to start your refund process. All you need to do is to fill out the easy, 3-step online form where we’ll collect your contact information, your insurance number (so we can access your past tax returns without you having to do any paperwork), and have you sign the Client Agreement and CRA authorization forms.
After you authorize us to access your past returns, we conduct an initial tax review and share a custom questionnaire with you about your tax history. Once the questionnaire is filled, we will inform you about a potential refund opportunity within 5 business days.
If you want to claim the refund, we file the amendment with the CRA. At this stage, the CRA either directly approves the amendments or asks for further clarifications about the amendment filed. Don’t worry, though - we handle all the communication with the CRA on your behalf.
When the CRA approves your refund, we send you an invoice for our services, which is 30% of the amount you’ll receive from the government. Depending on your tax history and unique circumstances, the CRA can take anywhere between a couple of weeks to several months to issue your refund. You will get the refund directly from the CRA via cheque or direct deposit.
